There is a longing to reset. And we do this by going back to power of nature. In nature we are nourished, inspired and given the energy to thrive. In it we also find ancestral lessons and spirits to usher our way forward.

This story builds on the slow movement and gives it greater meaning and footing. It’s a story that is natural, earthen and takes us from deserts to mountains as we feel the fresh air.

The designs are relaxed, the colors are soft and natural and the finishes are textured. Quilting and other timeless motifs provide the finishing touches.

The pandemic’s forced exodus to the country for many and the longing for slow living along with a more immediate relationship with nature will continue to forge a new way forward for many.

For many BIPOC individuals, the relationship to nature is ancestral and carries rich traditions and rituals.

This story provides that return home and that sense of nourishment and escape.
